"Truth // Energeia & Dunamis"

This body of work runs parallel to other works given the sheer amount of time and effort it takes to produce each piece.
In these pieces I seek to express emotional concepts in three-dimensional space as non-objective, abstract explorations of feeling as color + form.
In this first piece I seek to describe the metaphysical concept first posited by Aristotle of potentiality (dunamis) and actuality (energeia).

The convergence of these ideas against a specific inner backdrop resolves in an expression of a kind of emotional truth, depicted as a physical, representative form as it energetically moves across the artwork.
"Entelecheia"

Whereas the first piece in this series explores the juxtaposition of multidimensional concepts of actuality and the nature of being, or the 'coming into action' and potentials of an object, this piece is about completeness, wholeness.
In terms of time I see this as an expression of a singularity, or the 'full' overlapping moments of an object's reality existing simultaneously in one space.
